WILLIAM EDWARD NORTON (American, 1843-1916) CLEANING FISH ON BEACH. Oil on canvas scene shows a man with bib overalls cleaning fish on a wood stand. A dory is beside with small boy and another dory is beside a dock area. Boats are seen in background moored in a tranquil water area with coastline beyond. Singed lower left “W E Norton Atelier”. Housed in a stained oak frame with linen and gold liner. Along with this lot are copies of biographical and exhibit information on the artist. SIZE: 12” x 16”.
