HAROLD LLOYD BANK. Made by Selhumer & Strauss in Germany in the 1910-1920’s. This Harold Lloyd bank is considered scarce and desirable. It has cross-over appeal for both bank collectors and comic character collectors. When wire lever on side of bank is pressed, Harold Lloyd’s tongue sticks out and his eyes roll down. When coin is placed on tongue and lever is released, coin is deposited in bank. SIZE: 5-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Bank shows oxidation and minor rust coming through lithography on front. Small spot on forehead may be a minor touch-up. Otherwise, bank is in good condition. Even with its discoloration, it still has a decent appearance. 1-9925 (600-1,200)
