MILLS CHICAGO 5 CENT CLAW MACHINE. Circa 1920s, this digger (AKA claw machine) is in a two piece (separate base) wood cabinet with the art deco design. Mirrored background with a boom, adjustable positioning, and a claw that will come down and attempt to grab the goodies in the tray and deposit them in the chute to the waiting player. A very nice, older restoration with what appears to be the original 5 cent coin chute insert. Locked lower cabinet, which would have stored additional prizes and a pair of Mills locks on the upper doors (lacking keys). Machine tested and in functional, operational condition. SIZE: 69″ h x 20″ d x 22″ w. CONDITION: As stated above. 1-12765 (1,500-2,500) Auction: Advertising, Toy & Doll - June 2013 Please Note: All prices include the hammer price plus the buyer’s premium, which is paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price.
