EARLY AMERICAN 10-LIGHT CANDLE CHANDELIER. First half 19th century. Cylindrical turned shaft with wheel base emitting s-scrolled steel arms each fitted with a sheet steel candle cup. Chandelier now in cream paint over original gilding. SIZE: Overall 17-1/2″ h x 30-1/2″ dia. PROVENANCE: Robert Frederick Woolworth Estate, Monmouth, Maine. (F.W. Woolworth Store). CONDITION: Structurally very good with dry painted surfaces. 9-23541 (800-1,200)
