OLD SHEET METAL WEATHERVANE HUNTING DOG. This early 20th century hand-made weathervane of sheet metal depicts a hunting dog on point. on a standard which has only “north” and “south” and appears to never have had “east” and “west”. Has great old rust patina throughout and also mounted on a very old wooden base. SIZE: 26” l x 26-1/2” h. CONDITION: As previously noted, a nice all-over deep rust patina. The “S” for “south” bent. 9-23407 (300-500)
