UNSIGNED (Middle Eastern, 19th Century) SEVEN MIDDLE EASTERN SCENES. Watercolor scenes as follows: 1) A man driving a two-oxen two-wheel cart loaded with white bales. SIGHT SIZE: 4” x 5-1/2”. 2) A man holding entry dish in front of building. He wears a white turban and white robe. SIGHT SIZE: 4-3/4” x 5”. 3) A man in similar outfit to #2 and holding a large water pipe in front of building. SIGHT SIZE: 4-3/4” x 5”. 4) The same man walking in front of a four men carrying a well dressed gentleman in an open door box while another holds a large parasol. SIGHT SIZE: 4-1/4” x 6-1/4”. 5) Two-horse drawn four-wheel carriage with man, woman and driver. SIGHT SIZE: 3-1/2” x 5-1/4”. 6) A woman and child. SIGHT SIZE: 5-1/4” x 3-3/4”. 7) A man in a formal white robe with white turban holding a whip. SIGHT SIZE: 5-1/4” x 4-1/2”. Five housed in identical frames and two others.
