PELICAN BANK WITH BASEBALL PLAYER. Manufactured by Trenton Lock & Hardware Co. This fairly scarce bank is in the shape of a full-figured pelican standing on a beach. This is a gold painted version, slightly harder to find than the Japanese version. When coin is pressed into slot on top of pelican’s head, his mouth opens and surprises an unsuspecting depositor by exposing a human figure – in this case, a baseball player. This bank was also sold with one of four other figures in the pelican’s mouth. SIZE: 8″ h. CONDITION: Very good with some wear to base, pelican and baseball player. 1-9904 (1,000-2,000)
