PATENT MODEL FLY FAN. Patented Feb. 27, 1872 by G.A. Goodrich & P. Miller, #124,054. Metal box on wooden tripod base presumably contains clockwork motor to rotate fan blades (no longer present). Painted on one side “G.A. Goodrich Novelty Fly Brush” and etched in script on one side “G.A. Goodrich Shoo Fly”. Accompanied by patent tag (torn) and Peterson tag. SIZE: 10-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Good with dents and scratches.
