POLYPHON 15-1/2″ DISC BOX WITH DISCS. Beautiful walnut cased disc music box with 32 discs. Original picture inside lid with name Polyphon. Lid has diamond matched veneer with multicolor inlay and a rosewood flower with leaves with string inlay border framed by high relief molding. Case is on short legs for tone resonance. Movement appears unrestored but in very nice original condition. Has a tempo regulator. Single comb and dampers sound good. Has beautiful crystal clear tone. Bed plate has fancy casting with Polyphon cast into it. SIZE: 21″ w x 19″ d x 10″ t. CONDITION: Case is all original, very nice, could use detailing and polishing to be immaculate. Works are completely original. A cleaning and polishing would make a museum piece. Has original crank. 1-13381 (1,500-2,500)
