PATENT MODEL FLY TRAP. Patented April 11, 1871 by Clinton Hardy, #113,515. Wooden hinged box with half length windowed lid. Beneath is a turntable and scraper that would likely sweep trapped insects into the holding area. Side lifts to reveal clockwork motor. Affixed with metal plaque reading “Clinton R. Hardy”. Accompanied by patent tag and Peterson tag. SIZE: 8″ l x 4-1/4″ h x 6″ d. CONDITION: Good. Couple of small parts detached. 1-12164 (200-400)
