WESSON & HARRINGTON NO. 3 THIRD TYPE SPUR TRIGGER REVOLVER. Cal. 32 RF short. SN 5790. Nickel finish with 2-3/4″ oct bbl, German silver blade front sight, and 5-shot cylinder and 2-pc rosewood bird head grips. The bbl is apparently a recycled item from the factory as it is stamped over the serial number 5216. This appears to be a factory over stamp as it is the same size and shape numbers appear on the back of the cylinder and side of the frame under the left grip. CONDITION: Very fine. All matching including the grips. Overall it retains about 98% strong orig nickel finish. Hammer screw and trigger spring retain most of their niter blue. Grips are sound with light edge wear and retain most of their orig factory varnish, missing the left screw. Crisp mechanics with strong bright bore with a few scattered spots of light pitting. 4-57639 JR296 (300-500)
Auction: Firearms - Spring 2006 Please Note: All prices include the hammer price plus the buyer’s premium, which is paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price. The prices noted here after the auction are considered unofficial and do not become official until after the 46th day. |
