SCARCE BUTTING BUFFALO MECHANICAL BANK. Manufactured by Kyser & Rex Co. Bank depicts a buffalo butting a boy climbing a tree to get a closer look at a raccoon. When coin is placed in top of tree and lever is pressed, buffalo butts boy up the tree, raccoon recoils and coin is deposited in bank. SIZE: 7-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Bank is in very good condition, but raccoon is probably an old replacement and there is some in-painting to the boy. Trap has been replaced; small crack on base plate. Although bank has some problems, it still has great eye appeal. 1-9889 (1,500-2,500)
