LOT OF 2 LIONEL NAVAL ACCESSORIES. Like many companies during WWII, Lionel expanded their normal production line to include items outside their usual bailiwick. In this case they produced for the military items like these naval navigation devices. 1. U.S. Navy Bearing Circle. A 360 degree graduated circular brass ring with flip up focal pieces, set within its original wood carrying case. 2. Floating compass that is designed to always stay upright, set within a copper housing with a side mount kerosene lantern for night usage. SIZE: 10-1/4″ diam. 9″ w x 8-3/4″ d x 9-3/4″ h. CONDITION: 1. Very good to excellent with a few minor paint chips. 2. Generally good. 1-12921, 1-12922 (300-500)
