FINE CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE BOWL DEPICTING THE EIGHTEEN LOUHAN. Chinese Republic, 20th century. The base with a four character Quinlong mark in under-glaze blue within a double circle. The bowl depicting the 18 Buddhist Louhan in various acts and poses in vivid polychrome tones. The scene includes a dragon within a cloud and flying crane. The whole set on a gold enamel ground. This lot offered in its original presentation case and with an ornately carved rosewood stand. SIZE: Bowl 4″h x 8-1/4″ dia. CONDITION: Very good. 9-24758 (3,500-4,500)
