STUMP SPEAKER MECHANICAL BANK. Visually a great bank. Exaggerated face black politician stands on stump. When lever is pressed, coin in his hand drops, the satchel opens and deposits money. This bank came in two versions, one with a black face politician and one with a brown face politician; this is the black face version. This wonderful bank has crossover appeal to collectors of both black memorabilia and mechanical banks. SIZE: 10″ h. CONDITION: Bank is in near excellent + condition with some minor chipping in lips and base and around trap in back of bank. Definitely a superior example of this bank. Bank also appears at one time to have had professional cleaning. Even with black light there appears to be no restoration. 1-9890 (2,500-4,500)
