PAIR OF MAJOLICA POLYCHROME DECORATED SPILL VASES. Mid 19th Century. Each vase in the form of a truncated tree against which leans a maiden on one, and gentleman with cup on second. Sequentially numbered with an underglaze incised mark 2401 and 2402. SIZE: h. 12-1/4″. CONDITION: the vase with female figure has large repair at upper rim of tree trunk. Second vase appears very good overall. 9-99687 (400-600)
