UNCLE SAM ARCADE MACHINE.

UNCLE SAM ARCADE MACHINE. A fine electric replica of the original personality tester arcade machine made by Caille Brothers at the turn of the 20th century. A visually attractive machine, a coin being placed in the chute, one would grip and squeeze Uncle Sam’s hand to test the strength of their personality. Glass bezel in the center of his chest has a light-up meter with various personality levels including “Cold Fish”, “Hot Stuff”, “Tax Cheat”, Uncontrollable”, and at the very top end was “Patriotic”. A combination of oak & cast metal painted into the likeness of Uncle Sam with a large banner style marquee above Uncle Sam’s head (which has been updated from a penny to 25 cents). SIZE: 74″ to top of marquee. CONDITION: Overall very good plus with key. Typical wear and aging over the years, but still very presentable and acceptable. 1-13637 (1,500-2,500)
