SALESMAN SAMPLE GALE CHILLED PLOW. Large and impressive sample from this Albion, Michigan company in old red paint with yellow and black highlights. Hand painted with patent dates from 1874 to 1876. Below is a large, heavy steel blade with secondary blade above. Decorated with fancy scroll work and a steel guiding wheel at the front. SIZE: 26″ l x 11″ t. CONDITION: Good to very good. Right handle has old repair and turned cross-piece between handles is a quality replacement. 1-12418 (3,000-6,000)
