EXTREMELY SCARCE HARLEQUIN MECHANICAL BANK SECOND CASTING. Manufactured by J & E Stevens. Probably one of the most aesthetically pleasing banks with wonderful action. When figures are set and lever is pushed the harlequin spins the columbine like a top. Just a beautiful bank, greatly multicolored. It must have been very appealing to the kids. Although not produced at the turn of the century, the second casting is considered a very scarce and desirable bank. Only a handful of these original banks have surfaced. SIZE: 7-1/4″ h. CONDITION: Bank is in good to very good condition with noticeable paint loss to right side base of bank. 1-9862 (3,000-6,000)
