Highly elaborate nickel plated piece with six spoked wheels supporting formed saddle seat and wooden hopper leading to six curved spring loaded blades that cut through the soil depositing seed through a conduit attached to the rear of each blade. Top of hopper has plaque that reads “E.A. Havens, Maker, Peoria, Illinois”. Retains original cloth covered, felt lined wooden carrying case. SIZE: 18″ l x 11-1/2″ w x 11-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. Case cover is deteriorating but still structurally sound. 1-12210 (4,000-6,000)
