LUNDGREN (American, Mid 20th Century) RUNNING THE COURSE. Oil on canvas marine scene shows a blue hulled sailing yacht sailing with four other yachts on light ocean under colorful sky. The blue hulled yacht sails from right to left and has several people aboard. Housed in a silvered gilt molded wood frame. The name “Parkman” is written on the stretcher. Possibly a portrait of the Parkman Family yacht sailing amongst other New York City Yacht Club yachts. Signed lower right “Lundgren”. Possibly the work of Charles Lundgren (American, 1911-1988). SIZE: 32″ x 41″. PROVENANCE: From a private collector. CONDITION: Very good. 9-96766 (400-600)
