TRICK DOG MECHANICAL BANK (6-PART BASE). Manufactured by The Shepard Hardware Company. There are several versions of this bank. This early version by Shepard is the most desirable and has the best color combination to the clown, barrel, and base. When coin is placed in dog’s mouth, press lever, dog jumps through clown’s hoop, and deposits coin in barrel. SIZE: Height 8″. CONDITION: A superior example of this bank in bright colors in excellent plus condition with some minor chipping throughout. 1-9916 (1,500-2,500)
