JEAN CHARLES CAZIN (French, 1841-1901) “LA CHARRETTE”. Oil on wood panel landscape scene shows a figure in cart riding away from viewer on a dirt path. A figure is seen under large grove of trees on left side. A figure and two cows are seen under a grove of trees. All under a colorful cloudy sky. Signed lower right “JC Cazin”. An old exhibit or sale entry is taped to reverse with title and artist. Also indicating it is from the collection of Marmol Fraga. Housed in a copper colored gesso decorated antique frame. SIZE: 16-1/2″ x 21-1/2″. CONDITION: Slight bow in panel, otherwise very good. 9-92784 (4,000-5,000)
