BOY SCOUT BANK. Manufactured by J. & E. Stevens. Visually a great bank, it has Boy Scouts setting up camp, with one boy standing behind a caldron. Another boy is cast into the teepee. When coin is placed at top of tree above the owl and lever is pressed, a third Boy Scout raises his flag proudly. Words cast on flag read, “BOY SCOUT CAMP”. Bank is not easy to find. SIZE: 10″ l. CONDITION: Very good, with some overall wear. Has its original flag, which is commonly missing on this bank. The only negative is that Boy Scout behind caldron is partially in-painted. 1-9885 (2,000-4,000) Auction: Advertising, Toy & Doll - Spring 2010 Please Note: All prices include the hammer price plus the buyer’s premium, which is paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price. The prices noted here after the auction are considered unofficial and do not become official until after the 46th day. |
