BEVELED WALL MIRROR WITH ROCOCO BRASS MOUNTS. First quarter 20th century, Continental. The Art Nouveau influenced beveled mirror plate with bullseyes etched engraved along the mirror plate is the following: “Al Autor de Gloria, La Sc-dad Teatro de Calderon“. The mirror mounted within a brass frame of pikes and halbreds within drapery forming an easel mount for the mirror plate. Additionally with a winged cupid with bow by the crest. SIZE: Overall: 34-1/4″ l x 14-1/2” w. CONDITION: Lower center of mirror plate with loss to silver backing and with minor losses and flecks around unprotected edge of mirror. Surfaces of frame original with nice patina. 7-73588 (200-300)
