TWO FINE CLASSICAL BRONZE FIGURES TITLED “GAULOIS” AND “SARRAZIN”. Second half 19th century. These nice unsigned examples depicting soldiers preparing for battle. One with helmet drawing sword. The second wrapped in a cloak carrying a halberd. Both modeled on a round plinth. SIZE: Sarrazin 24-1/4″ h. Gaulois 20″ h. CONDITION: Both statues with very nice patina and original surfaces. The Halberd, cast in two sections, and appears original. Each titled on the edge of plinth. 9-20151 (3,000-4,000)
