O.D. JENNINGS “FAVORITE” COIN DROP TRADE STIMULATOR. Jennings produced a series of four trade stimulators, all similar in nature, the Comet, the Favorite, the Rainbow, and the Rockaway. All four of these were produced at the same time. However, they had different themes they portrayed. This particular example has a horse race theme depicted on the aluminum castings. Depending upon where your penny landed, you received anywhere from 0 to 25 points. But regardless of where the penny landed, you received a gumball for your troubles. Machine appears to be in original finish to the wood and the aluminum castings with some minor paint enhancement to lower front panel. Machine appears to be in mechanical working order. SIZE: 12-1/2″ d x 14″ w x 20″ h. CONDITION: Overall very fine plus. Replacement aluminum cap at gum fill opening. Original tin coin box is no longer present. 1-12381 (2,000-2,500)
