GEORGE II STERLING SILVER SALVER. Maker’s mark “RP”, possibly Richard Pargeter, London, 1735/6. The Chippendale style border having four small scroll feet, the center having an engraved crest of a bent leg with foot on ground within shield surrounded by a leaf wreath & swag. WEIGHT: 39 tr. oz. SIZE: 1-1/2″ h x 14″ dia. CONDITION: Shows some scratches on surface due to normal wear, very good. 9-22588 (2,000-3,000)
