SCHOENHUT GOLF GAME WITH FOURSOME OF PLAYERS. A note within the storage box indicates this is the original Bobby Jones golfers made by the Schoenhut company in the 1920s. Oftentimes golfers will turn up on their own, and occasionally one will find the various accouterments such as sand traps, putting greens, ball cleaners, etc., but rarely will one find a complete set. These items are encased in a wooden box, which might even be an original Schoenhut storage unit. Five golfers are included (3 male and 2 female) and a plethora of goodies. Golfers overall are in very good condition with clubs (one lady’s club broken). Extra male golfer missing club. If one has never played with this toy, it would give hours of amusement to both children and adults as well. Setting up the various accessories in the parlor, rolling balls across the floor, and children competing against each other. What a great toy! Acquired from the Atlanta Toy Museum that closed its doors in late 1985. SIZE: Varies, golfer shaft measures approx. 36″ h. CONDITION: Overall very good plus. 1-10496 (2,000-4,000)
