IMPORTANT TIFFANY FAVRILE LAMP BASE. Magnificent Tiffany base has blue and green iridescence with exceptional blue and green swirls encircling the base. Signed on the bottom “LOUIS C TIFFANY 04542”. Base has original bronze patinaed oil font which is signed on the bottom “TIFFANY STUDIOS NEW YORK D890”. Burner has been electrified with cord coming from side of burner so font has not been drilled. Attached to font is original bronze patina spider for 16″ shade. Base would be beautiful with leaded glass shade, blown glass shade or even a silk shade. SIZE: The wonderful large base is 14 1/2″ tall to top of socket and 9″ diameter.
