ST. LOUIS CAMEO VASE. Very nice St. Louis vase has cameo iris decoration with gold gilt highlights against a background of acid cut leaves. The smooth neck of the vase is decorated with intaglio carved designs and applied handles. Body of vase is rich cobalt blue while smooth area of neck and handles shows amethyst. Vase is signed on side of foot in engraved block letters “St. Louis”. Vase also has an acid cut mark in polished pontil of “Stevens & Williams Art Glass Sturbridge”. SIZE: 8″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor wear to gilding on lip. 5-62969 (600-800)
