BASSETT-LOWKE 2-6-4 OUTLINE ONE GAUGE ELECTRIC ENGINE. A very elaborate self contained engine and tender of English outline. Typical of Bassett-Lowke, they duplicated in miniature form the real train engines utilized throughout the country. One could tell that this engine in real life must have been a real “work horse” capable of hauling many freight cars and/or passenger coaches. Very nice original finish in black with red & white pinstriping. SIZE: 18″ l. CONDITION: Overall as stated above. Solder joint at left rear of engine is loose, otherwise very good plus. 1-13334 (600-900)
