REGINA STYLE 35 DISC MUSIC BOX WITH LEADED GLASS FRONT AND CLOCK. An exceptional, all original Regina auto changer with all the bells and whistles! The fanciful crest retains the original Regina clock, which is in original condition. The more expensive models featured a clock in the crest and a leaded glass front door like this one has. Beautiful original finish to the mahogany cabinet with no apologies whatsoever. Opening the front door and viewing the mechanism, it is very clean and fully functional, but a light lubrication would be helpful. The changing mechanism has room for twelve metal discs. A large celluloid plaque is visible upon opening the door reading “Regina Music Box Co.” A plaque on the bed plate states the serial number of 3500148. On the back wall of the cabinet is a decal with the word “Regina” written over musical notes. Perhaps this is one of the nicest all original changers to exist. If one were to make an apology, there are a couple small cracks to one of the rippled clear panels directly above the crown on the front door, though not overly noticeable, we feel this minor sorrow should be mentioned. Included with this machine is a notarized stamp indicating that this particular machine was shipped from the factory on November 20, 1907 to the ultimate purchaser in Iowa. Miscellaneous literature along with original crank, clock key, and cabinet keys included with 12 15-1/2″ discs. SIZE: Approx. 70″ h x 22″ d x 27″ w. CONDITION: As stated above with no broken teeth and beautiful rich tone. 1-12409 (40,000-45,000) Auction: Advertising, Toy & Doll - Fall 2012 Please Note: All prices include the hammer price plus the buyer’s premium, which is paid by the buyer as part of the purchase price.
