LEHMANN ALABAMA COON JIGGER W/ ORIGINAL BOX. Many manufacturers have attempted their version of this toy, but none achieved success comparable to Lehman’s “Alabama Coon Jigger”. Dancer stands on a box on which the words “ALABAMA COON JIGGER” are printed. There is a manually regulated lever and escapement allowing dancer to execute dance-like movements at varying speeds. This earlier, scarcer version of the toy has a hole in dancer’s right hand to insert a national flag. Occasionally this toy surfaces, but it’s rare to find one in this condition. Accompanied by original box. SIZE: About 10-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Lithograph retains a bright luster throughout, with very minor wear to key. Toy is overall near mint condition. Box is missing tiny corner of label, also two side flaps of lid, but the original instructions are still fastened to underside of lid. Overall, box is near excellent. 1-10291 (600-900)
