RARE STURDITOY SIDE TIPPING HOPPER TRUCK. A most unusual and seldom found Sturditoy. This particular vehicle has a hopper bed that by means of a crank can tip to the right or left. Steel disc wheels with thick black rubber tires, black cab, red frame work and a dark green hopper body make quite a contrast as well as intriguing commercial vehicle. Although this truck is in good to very good condition, its rarity is quite high! Of all the various manufacturers of pressed steel toys this is the only version by any maker that utilized this type of mechanism to empty its bed load. Fresh to the market it comes with years of dust and dirt free of charge to the potential buyer. SIZE: 24″ l. CONDITION: Overall in good to very good condition.
