LEHMANN AUTOBUS. The first toy manufacturer to introduce a miniature of the first Berlin bus was E. P. Lehmann. The double-decker bus with its driver grasping the wheel has a curved staircase and guardrail leading to the rear platform and open upper deck. SIZE: 8-1/4″ l. CONDITION: The lithograph is vulnerable to oxidation or change in the presence of light or atmospheric conditions. In this case, the sides of bus have lightened. Lithography and japanning are outstanding, showing almost no scratches and very little oxidation. Overall condition is exceptional to near mint. 1-10295 (1,500-2,000)
