UNSIGNED (European, 19th Century) THE FORTUNE TELLER. Oil on canvas scene shows a young maiden having her palm read by a Gypsy with a young child beside. A small dog is seen at the feet of another girl with hands clasped under chin. All seen in a landscape having a marble railing. Housed in its original gesso decorated frame which is “as is”.
