DIMINUTIVE CARVED OAK CURIO CABINET. Last quarter 19th century, New England. The quartersawn cabinet with elliptic sides and serpentine front, the top with gadrooned molding above the foliate carved frieze above a serpentine glass panel door flanked by foliate and rope twist carved pilasters opening to an interior fitted with conforming glass shelves and mirror back. The case sides fitted with glass panels above a gadrooned and shaped apron raised on foliate carved and molded cabriole legs terminating in hairy paw feet. SIZE: 51″ h x 33-1/2″ w x 16″ d.
