DAUM NANCY MINIATURE PILLOW VASE. Wonderful Daum miniature pillow vase has enamel decoration on the front of a bird standing on a rock pulling a weed from a pond with enameled trees and rocks surrounding the pond. The backside is decorated with cameo flower, stems and leaves. The flower is enameled with rich orange while the stems and leaves are done in green and gold gilding. The decoration is all set against an acid textured opalescent background, while the water in the pond is polished to give a pond-like reflection. Signed on the underside in gold “Daum Nancy” with Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 1-5/8″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-63901 (900-1,200)
