STAFFORDSHIRE OBADIAH SHERRATT FIGURE OF A HORSE AND RIDER. 19th century. Depicting a horse ridden by a gentleman in top hat with turquoise jacket and yellow riding pants. A serpent form riding crop in his right hand. The horse appears to be leaping over a tree stump. Mounted on a rectangular polychrome decorated platform raised on stylized turquoise claw feet. SIZE: h. 9-1/2″ CONDITION: Good, some restoration to black paint and also with enhancement. 9-99684 (800-1,200)
