COLT MODEL 1855 ROOT REVOLVER. SN 24998. Cal. 88. 3-½” oct. bbl. With matching numbers on bbl, frame and cylinder. Standard 2-line markings on top of bbl with three Maltese crosses and the pointing hand. CONDITION: Mostly gray patina mixed with light pitting. Faint remnants of a cylinder scene.
