WINCHESTER MODEL 1892 LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 38 WCF (38-40). SN 49799. Standard grade rifle with 24-1/4” oct bbl, full magazine, half nickel front sight with screw, semi-buckhorn rear sight and a Lyman tang sight, uncheckered wood, crescent butt. CONDITION: Good to very good. Mostly brown patina overall with traces of blue on the bbl and 75% on the magazine tube. Tang sight modified to fit this rifle. Wood is sound, gouge in the forearm, with traces of original finish. Bright bore, frosty in the grooves. 4-51950 JR1177 (400-700)
