ADOLF EBERLE (German, 1843-1914) HOME FROM THE HUNT. Outstanding oil on wood panel interior German scene shows the father at the dinner table eating a recently prepared dinner while his two children look on and his wife stands beside. The little girl has grabbed the glass stein half full of beer. Three dogs stand beside the table and a rifle and trap rests on a bench. His young son kneels on a chair and has a wagon at his feet. The interior is well appointed and a window is seen with pot of flowers. Signed lower left “Adolf Eberle, Munchen”. Housed in a fine gilt carved replacement frame with gilt liner from the Guido Frame Studios. SIZE: 19-1/4″ x 25-1/4″. CONDITION: Very good, some inpainting. 9-93868 (25,000-45,000)
