BASSETT-LOWKE PRINCE CHARLES CLOCKWORK ENGINE & TENDER W/ OB. A fine lithographed clockwork engine in typical English 4-4-0 outline with 6-wheel tender. Lithographed in dark blue and black with “Prince Charles” emblazoned over main drive wheels and a decal depicting a stylized lion above a British Railways banner on tender. In exceptional original condition with only a minor scuff here and there to the lithograph, this toy appears to have had little if any use over the years. SIZE: Overall 16″ l. CONDITION: Clockwork mechanism working. Original key comes with toy. As to be expected, box shows light fading, some taping and wear. 1-9649 (800-1,200)
