AMERICAN MOLDED COPPER FULL BODY ROOSTER WEATHERVANE. Late 19th/early 20th century. This large example with molded comb and wattle and with sheet metal molded tail in mustard paint over old gilded surfaces now accompanied with a museum stand. SIZE: 29″ h (vane); 32″ h (overall) x 27-1/2″ l. CONDITION: With later painted surfaces as noted. The tail repaired and welded at body. With multiple filled bullet holes.
