IMARI CHARGER WITH SCALLOPED RIM. Second half 19th century, Japanese. This large example with scalloped rim and ridged fans, polychrome decorated and with three rondels of herons, the central main rondel decorated with a ribbon tied floral bouquet set on a veranda. The reverse decorated with blue floral sprays. SIZE: 18″ d. CONDITION: Very good overall with bright rich colors and no restorations noted. The underside with remnants of illegible old paper label. 9-96595 (800-1,200)
