SALESMAN SAMPLE BOILER WITH OB. Created for Morison Suspension Furnaces by Continental Iron Works, this cutaway model shows the internal workings of their boiler furnace. Fine details of construction include a hinged fire door, wet bottom, rear dry back firebrick, fire tubes, hinged smoke box door, stay rods, surface blowoff outlet, drain fitting in bottom, hand hole, and steam separator. Etched on side with both companies’ names. Comes in original wooden carrying case with brass plaque. SIZE: 10-1/2″ l x 5-1/2″ h. CONDITION: Very good to near excellent, appears to have had legs or support structure, which are no longer present. Etched area of boiler appears to have been polished. Box missing lock escutcheon. 1-9511 (700-900)
