EARLY AMERICAN HORSE DRAWN TIN WAGON. Circa 1880 pull toy features two hand soldered strutting horses pulling spoke wheeled wagon. Wagon has reticulated surround in red with seated tin rider. Wagon is decorated in blue with hand painted yellow pinstriping and gold Fleur-de-lis enhancements. SIZE: 14″ l. CONDITION: Horses retain much of original paint. Toy is complete with no breaks or repairs, however solder joint on center support to right horse has broken. Some paint enhancement to red on horses saddles and seating surround. Possible paint restoration to yellow flooring? 1-13449 (1,000-1,500)
