BOXED IVES #3261 O-GAUGE FREIGHT SET.

BOXED IVES #3261 O-GAUGE FREIGHT SET. A unique and interesting set from the Ives/Lionel transition era. The engine itself is on a cast metal frame, which is intact and strong. Engine is black and orange and include car #64159 NYC & HR orange box car, #63 NYC & HR gondola, flat car with lumber load, and #70 red caboose. Cars and engine retain typical colorful light blue Ives boxes. Included are two boxes of original track (2 boxes of curved, 2 boxes of straight) in similar boxes, and a boxed Ives transformer. All are inside the original Ives set box. CONDITION: Overall very fine plus, this set appears to have had absolute minimal use, but there is some chipping to orange frame on engine and minimal wear/chipping to freight cars. 1-12885 (1,000-1,500)
