PAIR OF BOXED EARLY BING LAMPS. Circa 1920s this pair of all original Bing street lamps are contained within their original cardboard box. The box retains a triangular paper label with the initials “A.W. Co.” which was most likely a jobber/store selling these items. Typical of this time period, the lamps are painted in unusual pastel colors and still retain the electric wiring and insulators to illuminate the glass globes. A crank handle on the side connected to a chain allows the globes to be raised and lowered. Although there is some paint flaking to the bases, the overall paint condition is far above average. SIZE: 16″ h. CONDITION: Overall very fine plus. 1-13153 (800-1,200)
